I am looking for a friend let me emphesize a FRIEND. So many people miss this and want to start a relationship and off the te marriage vows they go. I want to be married but I want a friend first someone who makes me weak in the knees and maybe studder a bit and forget what I was saying. This is a growing friendship with real potential. I have been in church the majority of my life, since 1989, and come from a very conservative church. We still believe that rather than attempting to blend in with the world, you should live a holy, separated life. That said, it is not that I have a holier-than-thou attitude and will be the first to say that I am far from perfect, but having very similar / the same beliefs is important to me because when it comes to my salvation, I am not looking for any shortcuts. I am at the point in my life where I want a closer, more intimate relationship with the Lord, and though I cannot say with certainty exactly what the Lord wants of me, I do know that my only purpose is not to just occupy a pew for the rest of my life. So, I am working on me, to get to where God wants me to be in Him.
